D(+)-Glucose	20.0
Dipotassium hydrogen phosphate	2.0
Sodium acetate trihydrate	5.0
Triammonium citrate	2.0
Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate	0.2
Manganous sulfate tetrahydrate	0.05
Final pH 6.2 +/- 0.2 at 25℃

Attention

 - Store prepared media below 8℃, protected from direct light.

 - Store dehydrated powder, in a dry place in tightly-sealed containers at 2-25℃

 

Directions

 - Dissolve 51 g in 1 litre distilled water and add 1 ml Tween 80 (Cat. No. P8074).

 - Boil to dissolve the medium completely.

 - Fill into containers and sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 min.

 - Incubate the culture up to 3 days at 35℃ or up to 5 days at 30℃.

 - If possible, incubate the culture in a CO2 enriched atmosphere in an anaerobic jar.

 

Principle and Interpretation

 - Tween 80 need to add for offer a fatty acid to Lactobacillus

 - Cf.) Tween 80 (Polysorbate 80)

 • This synthetic compound is a viscous, water-soluble yellow liquid.
